Funny Things Max Does
I love it when other people post about the cute funny things their kids do and say. I always looked forward to when Max could talk so I could share the funny things he says, even if just for the sake of his Grandparents who love these kind of stories. I better write them down before I forget!
When Max stumbles or falls, if I don't say anything he looks at me and says "Mom! You okay?" So then I ask him "Are you okay, Max?" and he responds "yup."
No matter how ofter I correct him, he still calls a Popsicle a "psychopol"
If he hears or sees Helado, he always does his "helado dance which involves chanting helado while rolling his fists.
When Max wants something you have (usually food) he says "waoh, waoh, waoh" I think he got it from my reaction to when he has something breakable or dangerous and I go take it away from him.
Sometimes at naptime or bedtime when we are in bed snuggling Max, he says randomly "I gotch you Nemo"
One day we were all lying in bed, Max in the middle and Ivan looks at me and says "I would snuggle you, but somethings in the way" Then we both broke out into a rendition of Nirvana's "Something in the way, oooooohooooooh" Which Max found thoroughly entertaining. I added "something's in the way, and it stiiiiiiii-iiiinks" Then Ivan started changing Max's diaper and suddenly Max sings "somptin in in ay, caca" We laughed pretty hard at that one.

Spanish
Max likes to play a game where we look at the map and I give him directions how to get somewhere or I tell him about places we want to go. Lately he's started saying "si, si" I didn't tell him to do this it's just something he started doing. I love that he's learning more Spanish. There is a maintenance guy here that doesn't speak english and somehow Max always know to say "hola" instead of "hi".

I call them my Grannies
This post is for my LDS readers, if you find you have no clue what I am talking about, don't worry, this conversation is irrelevant to you anyway. Here is a quick tip about underoos if you are traveling to the tropics anytime soon. You know those new carinessa 2s that are so great at home? Well leave them there!! Think silk or mesh. Trust me on this one.
