If I could give you one tiny moment of this, a morsel of Costa Rica, it would be the view from this overlook. I hesitate to even post a picture is does such pathetic justice to the majesty of the experience. The rhythmic sound floating up from below of water swishing and crashing against the rocks. The beautiful blues and greens of the water. The sun on your face and the breeze along the mountainside. The lucious green coast stretching on in both directions. The sound of life, buzzing, chirping, humming, singing to you. Close your eyes and smell the musky jungle and the ocean breeze. Imagine the way your hair stands on end and your senses awaken in the presence of such magnificent beauty. The way it tugs at your soul and makes you breath deep into yourself. The way it calms your mind and you could just sit there still and silent, just breathing it, just being there with it for long stretches of time.
That's what I would give you, if only I could.
That does look really gorgeous. Your boys look really brown in that photo, too. We thought of you today when we went to the zoo and saw a howler monkey. We wondered what other animals we were seeing that you have in your back yard.
